Rising Rock Force

ENMY’s rise to fame didn’t follow the traditional slow-burn path. Instead, it erupted, marked by explosive singles, a commanding stage presence, and an online buzz that turned local fans into a nationwide army. Their breakthrough moment came with “Burn,” a track that exploded across platforms and became a rallying cry for resilience. The band has been quickly rising since.

Underground to Unstoppable

ENMY's growing prominence is evident through their inclusion in various Spotify editorial playlists such as "New Core," "All New Metal," and "Hard Rock." Their tracks have also been featured on Apple Music's "Breaking Hard Rock" and "Fresh Blood" playlists. In 2024, they signed a multi-album deal with FiXT, a label known for its focus on electronic rock and metal, further solidifying their place in the industry. Their music has reached broader audiences through placements in video games like "Bloodhunt" and features on WWE programming, including "Friday Night Raw" and "SummerSlam."

Louder Than Life

Unapologetically powerful - this year, they’re turning up the volume at one of music’s biggest stages: Louder Than Life Festival. Slated to appear alongside rock titans and rising stars, ENMY’s inclusion in the 2025 Louder Than Life lineup marks a major milestone in their journey from underground buzz to festival mainstay. Ready to rock both loyal fans and first-time listeners with a set that promises energy, emotion, and edge. This is a band that feeds off the energy of a live crowd, and with thousands of rock devotees in attendance, it’s the perfect storm.

EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW:

How it Started

ENMY: The band started in 2019. Brady was in between bands, but had invites to fill in for other local bands. One day, Mike sent him a track to listen to, and Brady was interested after hearing it. Trevor returned from the navy around this time, and suggested starting a band. David was brought on a few years later.

Behind the Name

After brainstorming, Brady and Trevor initially formed the name NME, but the name was already taken by another Band. So they settled on ENMY as a shortened version of Enemy. Brady stated that he, Trevor and Mike always felt like the “enemy” of the local scene, like outsiders. They felt that they were not given opportunities like other bands in the scene, in spite of supporting other local artists. So the name seemed to fit and had a creative draw to it.

“Social media during the pandemic was wild,” Brady said, “Demon Eyes” was written to express how people marginalized others on social media based on what people posted without trying to get to know each other. There was lots of judging based on one comment or one viewpoint. Brady and the band stand by “leaving politics at the door” for a show to come together to connect with lyrics in their songs and music in general.

What artists had the most influence for the sound you wanted to create?

Bands such as Sevendust, Linkin Park, Breaking Benjamin, Killswitch Engage, Nickelback, and Three Days Grace served as influences for the music ENMY created. Music was a creative outlet for all the members, and they didn’t try to put themselves in one sub-genre or another. It’s more about creating rather than trying to fit into a box.

Does ENMY have any pre-show rituals before you take the stage?

Brady’s pre-show ritual includes a vocal warm up for projecting properly. Usually the band relaxes before a show & we have a huddle before going on stage. Brady & Trevor lead the huddle to be in the right headspace.

Brady stated that there have been times during their performances where there were technical difficulties or missing an entrance to a song, but for the lead singer, “hiccups are all about how you recover on stage”.

Do you have plans or hope to go on tour across the U.S. or overseas someday?

ENMY is working towards a larger tour. They stated they would love to play in Europe, Australia, Japan, etc. Australia and Russia are two of the top streaming countries for ENMY’s music. Opening for Rammstein would be a dream, and other bucket list bands include Bring me the horizon, Wage War, Architects, Breaking Benjamin, Disturbed, and Chevelle.

Being featured on WWE was a huge breakthrough for ENMY!! Was that something you or FiXT had to submit songs for? Has being featured helped grow your fan base?

Brady said he has always been interested in being a part of WWE or other sport events. Both ENMY and FiXT signed for ENMY’s music to be put in a database for sporting events. WWE searched for a certain sound/tempo/genre & 7 ENMY songs have been featured on WWE! The first time song, “Clarity”, was featured in a WWE recap video for Summer Slam, the label reported 11,000 people looked up their music. They now currently have 200,000 listeners on Spotify & growing!

What does the writing process look like for your music?

Brady shared the approach is different from song to song. Some songs are deeply personal, while others have a shared vision/perspective of everyone in ENMY. At end of the day, a song must be something they are all excited to play. They usually start with writing music for instruments, then add lyrics & vocals over top of it.

What advice do you have for other local bands or artists aspiring to be where ENMY is now?

Keep pursuing what you are passionate about. Brady shared that he is somewhat disheartened that it’s taken so long for ENMY to be where they are now, but you must learn to enjoy & embrace the journey. Your life quest is to put yourself into that one thing you are passionate about & make it happen. ENMY is now working with producers Brady made connections with 10 years ago. FiXT loves their creativity with making music, and the producers trust ENMY to make great music consistently.

Is there anything you would like the world & fans to know about ENMY?

Thank you for reading the interview & listening/checking us out! ENMY encourages fans and fellow artists to find & follow that one thing you are passionate about. There is a reciprocal nature of it all when energy is returned at a show from the crowd – it’s a win-win – “we enjoy what we do & love when that energy is reciprocated.”

How do you hope to impact the music industry?

A big part of being happy with yourself is feeding your inner-child energy & asking yourself, “what would make me happy?” They hope to help people find the courage to pursue the thing they want to do and are very passionate about. We can either fall into negativity or feed the positive outlook – helping people to connect with their emotions as an outlet.
